For its design, we love how it looks minimal yet sleek and elegant. The Philips AD7000W/37 Fidelio SoundAvia Wireless Speaker looks simple and similar with the Bose SoundTouch 20 Series III Wireless Music System.

The Philips AD7000W/37 Fidelio SoundAvia Wireless Speaker is very compact and has a smaller size than any other AirPlay speakers out there measuring a dimension of 6.61 x 11.7 x 4.17 inches only.

On front of this wireless speaker is where the curved speaker grille with the small PHILIPS logo is found. On top of it is a plain surface that is made from thick aluminum with diamond-cut edges (like those found on previous Apple devices such as the iPad Mini). While on its back is where most of the functionality can be located like the Power button, Volume Up/Down buttons, and ports for the wall adapter, USB, and 3.5mm audio input.

The Philips AD7000W/37 Fidelio SoundAvia Wireless Speaker can be used via AirPlay connection or via wired connection (3.5mm audio input).

Setting up AirPlay with the Philips AD7000W/37 Fidelio SoundAvia Wireless Speaker was very fast and smooth. All you need to have is a WiFi connection where both of your audio source and the Philips AD7000W/37 Fidelio SoundAvia Wireless Speaker are connected. Once both of them are connected to the same WiFi network, start pressing the power button of the speaker to allow it to be visible to your Apple device, and then once your Apple device can see the speaker, choose it and connect.

Meanwhile if you prefer using a wired connection or you prefer using a device other than that of Apple’s, then you can consider using its 3.5mm audio input.
