Yamaha, the Japanese giant tech who is behind the highly received audio technologies today (like the Yamaha RX-V481 and Yamaha VXS Series), has once again awed all audiophiles with their newest addition in their line of sound bars.

We all know that there is a big competition in the market when it comes to which one is the good, better, or the best sound bar to choose. Despite this consideration, it did not stop Yamaha from once again inserting another kind of product to create a better audio experience to everyone. Coming from its previous sound bar, Yamaha YSP-5600, this tech company has created a more impressive, sleeker, and less pricey option, which is the Yamaha YSP-2700.

What makes this Yamaha sound bar a worthy one? The YSP-2700 is a “7.1 channel” sound bar designed with a wireless sub that uses Yamaha’s technology, the Digital Sound Projector, to provide a surround sound. It is integrated with 16 drivers across the audio device’s 37-inch wide frontage just to give out amazing sounds in the room.

The Yamaha YSP-2700 sound bar looks sleeker and elegant with a glossy housing that is designed with plastic components. Although it is made with that, this sound bar does not look cheap at all. Instead it seems to look like a premium product, similar to the ones made from aluminum.
In terms of connectivity, we are really impressed with how flexible the YSP-2700 is. This sound bar includes three (3) HDMI inputs, yes — three HDMI inputs, as well as one (1) HDMI output that feature 4K compatibility. Aside from wired connection, the YSP-2700 is also a wireless sound bar, supporting Bluetooth connectivity “from” any devices, such as your phone or tablets, and “to” any set of wireless Bluetooth headphones. Considering the streaming quality, this wireless sound bar can decode both DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD for audiophiles who want to enjoy their Blu-ray tracks.

Another feature that impressed us its multi-room Wi-Fi system technology, called the MusicCast, which allows any user to stream different online services (like the Pandora, Rhapsody, and Spotify) as well as enable this wifi sound bar to stream high quality music from any networked devices.
Are you thinking of having one for yourself? It is set to be available this September coming with a $1,199.95 price tag. The Yamaha YSP-2700 is something to be excited for!
